Ensure a range of effective services, activities, programmes and projects for our target groups on a specific basis are provided besides providing generic services. Encourage high quality of services through ongoing organisational development which includes training and support for all staff and volunteers.”


 

STRATEGIC MARKET

Akaal Organisations objects are to:

  • Engage local communities in learning opportunities
  • Provide access to learning & recreational activities
  • Empower local communities, especially BME communities, older people and young people to participate in regeneration activities to promote physical, mental, spiritual, health and well being
  • Such other charitable purposes as the association may determine from time to time

  • Help to foster improved community relationships, addressing both local social and environmental concerns

STRATEGIC DELIVERY PLAN

  • We will acknowledge and respect individuals' personal beliefs and identity
  • Individuals will receive support through effective communication (verbal, non-verbal, listening)
  • Social interaction, inclusion and participation will be encouraged
  • People will mobility problems will be encouraged to participate and full provisions will be made to ensure that this is possible
  • All our clients will be treated in a manner which respects their dignity, individuality and culture besides encouraging participation.
  • Elderly people will be given practical help and made to feel a part of the community and not the "forgotten section"
