AKAAL RADIO 87.9FM – VAISAKHI 2009
On behalf of Akaal Radio and Akaal organisation to extend my thank you and gratitude to Community for the support in helping finance the radio station for Vaisakhi 2009.
There was a variety of shows varying from Shabad Kirtan to informative talkshows. A special thanks must go out to all the presenter who worked so hard to make the shows as professional as they were. All the guests that attended helped make the shows should not be forgotten. With they expertise in community work, politics to general knowledge helped complete the shows and make them very popular and well received.
The feedback for this twenty-eight day voluntary community radio license has been overwhelming and we hope to have reached well over 10,000 listeners.
We do intend to present this radio possibly on an bi-annual basis to mark the occasion of Vaisakhi and Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s Gurpurb. We look forward to then again receiving your support with the radio.
